AirTran Airways To Launch New Service To and From Pittsburgh International Airport

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2000--AirTran Airways (AMEX:AAI) today announced it will begin new low-fare service between Pittsburgh International Airport and New York (LaGuardia), Chicago (Midway) and Atlanta, beginning December 12, 2000. This makes Pittsburgh the 34th destination in the AirTran Airways system.

AirTran Airways will initially operate three daily nonstop flights from Pittsburgh to New York (LaGuardia), three daily nonstop flights to Chicago (Midway) and two daily nonstop flights to Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport.
