DALLAS—Jan. 13, 2000—Southwest Airlines will add ten new daily nonstop flights to its schedule on March 12, 2000. The new flights one new roundtrip between Chicago Midway and Kansas City (bringing the total number of roundtrips between those two cities to 18)
"New service is always exciting because we are meeting the needs of our Customers," said Joyce Rogge, Southwest’s vice president of marketing. "What makes this new service even more interesting is that it enables more of our California Customers to travel to Hartford/Springfield and Chicago with only one stop."
The nonstop service between Hartford/Springfield and Nashville can be combined with the new nonstop service between Nashville and Ontario for one-stop direct service between Hartford/Springfield and Ontario with an interim stop in Nashville. Likewise, the nonstop service between Chicago Midway and Kansas City can be combined with the new nonstop flight between Kansas City and Sacramento for one-stop direct service between Chicago Midway and Sacramento, with an interim stop in Kansas City.
